1. Submission of papers for the presenter must be done in the Congress.

2. The submission have to be done by the website through the link www.iabpr.org.br/3conferencia "REGISTRATION".

3. The papers’ trials will be done based on the complete work, sent until the deadline of May 22, 2009.

4. The work approved by the Scientific Committee will be presented at the Third International Conference of Border Towns in Oral Communication and Poster, as indication of the Committee.

5. The work should be included in one of the following topics:

6. General rules for formatting the work:

- The number of pages, including figures, tables and formulas should be up to 08 (eight).

- The document must be in A4 format (210mmx297mm), with the following margins: 3.5cm above, below 2cm, left 2.5cm and 2.5cm on the right. The text should be formatted in a single column.

- The first page must contain the title of the work, the name, address and e-mail of the author(s), the abstract in Portuguese and three keywords Spanish.

- The names of authors, addresses and e-mails should be centralized and in 12 pt size, with only the initials of each name in capital letter, with the full name, unabbreviated.

- The text of the abstracts in Portuguese and Spanish (abstract) must be written in 10 pt size, preceded by the word “Abstract” in bold and have up to 10 lines.

- The text should be written using Arial font 11 (pt) size with single space between the lines.

- The title should be centered in lower case (unless the initial of the first word of the title, the initials or the initials of the names), bold and 12 pt size.

- The email addresses cited in the text must be edited with "hyperlinks" because they are not recovered after conversion to .PDF format.

- Keywords must be written in 10 pt size, using lower case (except the initials or first letter names). The keywords (or group of keywords) must be written separated by a semicolon and end with dot.

- The title of each section or subsection must be bolded. Let a 12 pt size space before and 6 pt title after the title of each section. The sections must be numbered.

- The first line of paragraph must be indented by 0.7 cm. There must be no more additional space between paragraphs.

- Figures and tables must be listed in Arabic numerals. All labels from figures and tables in the text must be highlighted in bold, as “Figure 1”, “Table 1”, etc..

- The Abstract should be sent with the entire work.

7. Certificates

Only one certificate will be provided for each work, with the name of all authors. The certificates must be taken only after its presentation in the executive secretariat of the event.

RULES FOR PRESENTATION OF APPROVED PAPERS

1.The work can be presented as oral or poster COMMUNICATION.

Oral Communication - the author must prepare a presentation of 20 minutes on the Power Point and will have additional time for questions and discussion. The days, times and places will be informed after the disclosure of papers that were accepted by the Scientific Committee.

Poster - Must be prepared in size 0.90m X 1.20m, the material of preference of the author (canvas or polyethylene). The work must be formatted and have finish with cord, enabling its exposure in rooms 30 minutes before the beginning of presentation, in charge of presenters. The days, times and places will be informed from the dissemination of work accepted by the Scientific Committee.

2.The work will be presented in parallel sessions, with moderators in each room, and organized according to thematic areas. The presentation must be made by the author and / or a co-author of the work.

3.The articles will be selected for presentation and subsequently be published in full on CD-ROM, but at least one of the authors must be registered in the event and participate of it.

4.Aiming to prevent problems with presentations abandonment, the authors of the articles selected, must confirm their presence at the event by e-mail alvo@alvoeventos.com.br

Poster

1 - Size: 0.90m wide by 1.20m in height
2 - Title: Should be the same as the work sent in capital letters.
Below the title should appear in this order: name of authors,
name of the presenter (highlighted), name of supervisor, name
of department and institution, city and state.
3 - Content of the poster
Minimum text and maximum illustrations, charts and tables.
Font allowing reading the text 2 meters away from the poster.
4 - Additional Recommended Materials:
Prepare a summary a little more detailed than that made or
reduced copies of the same poster to distribute to whom interest.
Provide copies of names and addresses of authors
